The Commission for Educational & Cultural Exchange between the United States of America and the Arab Republic of Egypt of the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt announces for “Fulbright Egyptian Scholar Program – Post-Doctoral Research Grants” for the academic year 2020 – 2021, where the Program offers opportunities to study / conduct research in the United States of America for Egyptians PhD holders from academic staff members of Egyptian universities and researchers of Egyptian research centers and institutes in all disciplines except in the fields of medicine, veterinary medicine dentistry, and any other specialties of clinical studies or direct patient contact.Fulbright Egyptian Student Program “2020 - 2021” offers the following grants:1- Fulbright Egyptian Student Program for PhD holders from academic staff members of Egyptian universities and researchers. 2- Fulbright Egyptian Student Program in the field of arts, art institutions, museums and heritage studies for employees in this field and for Egyptian universities academic staff members.It should be noted that Fulbright Egyptian Student Program “2020 - 2021” will cover the expenses of research, accommodation, health insurance but the cost of travel to and from the United States of America is not covered by the grant and is normally provided by the grantee’s home institution, as the Submission will be through an "on-line" application, and the application Deadline will be on Thursday August 22, 2019, by submitting an electronic form and its attachments through (https://apply.iie.org/fvsp2020).As for "Post-Doctoral Research Grants Program", there will be "Information Sessions" on May 22 (from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm), 18 June, 16 July and 7 August (from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm), at Fulbright Office in Egypt - 21 Amer Street, Dokki, Giza, as for attendance, registration will be through the following link: (www.fulbright-egypt.org/program/scholar/).It is worth to mention that the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt was established in 1949 through a protocol between the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. State Department.
