H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) extends his sincere congratulations to all AASTMT Family members (Academic Staff Members, Employees and Students) on January 2020 Webometrics Ranking of World Universities that is considered to be one of the top 4 ratings for universities, where AASTMT has achieved a remarkable progress and reached the position of 2344 with the participation of more than 28000 international university in January 2020 evaluation, as AASTMT ranking in the current evaluation has been improved as compared to 2475 in July 2019, as well as AASTMT kept on the second position at the level of the Egyptian non-governmental universities, achieved the 14th place at the level of Egyptian universities.It`s worth to mention that during "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities", the quality of educational services and research in higher education institutions all over the world were assessed, as the research activities of universities and academic staff members are evaluated, in addition to the presence of the University, its activities on Internet and its assess through external links to the website of the institution.
