Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) social responsibility, and AASTMT implementation of the campaign “AASTians Green”, AASTMT organized a Marathon on Thursday 5- 3- 2020, at AASTMT Smart Village Campus, under the patronage of H.E Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary General of the League of Arab States, in the presence of H.E Major General Mahmoud Shaarawy – Egyptian Minister of Local Development, H.E Prof. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy - Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President and a group of H.E AASTMT Centers of Responsibility and students, in addition to the participation of a group of Stars of art, media and sports, as well as AASTMT athletes who won international championships.It is worth to mention that in accordance with the Egyptian Political leadership headed by H.E President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi - President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, keenness in empowering youth, qualifying them to lead, and opening channels of dialogue between the state leaders and youth, AASTMT President held a meeting with AASTMT students, on the sidelines of the campaign.
