In keeping with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) role as a house of Arab experience and a pioneer of academic excellence, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President participated in the activities of the council of AASTMT "Training Affairs, Sustainable Development and Community Service" that had been broadcasted directly through the online platform (zoom application), on Monday 4- 5- 2020, in the presence of H.E AASTMT "Deputies - Responsibility Centers", as to follow the work progress in the field of AASTMT Training Affairs, Sustainable Development and Community Service, and to stand on all developments.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Gamal Ghalwash - AASTMT Vice President for Training and Social Responsibility, as well AASTMT Deputies Responsibility Centers discussed the current plan for training and the vision during the next stage within the implementation of all precautionary measures concerning the outbreak of the new Corona virus, as AASTMT is currently depending on the online training system, then Prof. Dr. Iman Morsi - AASTMT Vice President for Training Affairs and Community Service, presented a report on AASTMT students 2019 training program, as it is considered to be one of the requirements of local or international accreditation, as It achieves the sustainable development goals of Egypt`s Vision 2030, and it is worth to mention that the number of AASTMT students who have enrolled in international training programs has reached 500 students in 11 international universities, as AASTMT has offered 7309 local training opportunities for AASTMT students within companies, institutions and banks, where AASTMT students training achievement was about 85%, as the report presented the European Union grants from Uclan University for AASTMT undergraduates and postgraduates during the period 2015 - 2022 (about 60 million pounds) in addition to the grants provided to engineers from Uclan University under the supervision of AASTMT.
