Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) Co-operational Agreements with different World Universities and Institutions, AASTMT and Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI) signed a protocol of cooperation directly through the online platform (zoom application), on Thursday 28- 5- 2020, in the presence of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President, H.E Ms Natasa Pilides - Shipping Deputy Minister to the Republic of Cyprus President, H.E Mr. Andreas Vyras - Mayor of Larnaca, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abd El-Bary – AASTMT Vice-President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and H.E Mr. Zacharias Siokouros - CMMI Chief Executive Officer, in addition to a group of officials in this sector.It is worth to mention that AASTMT and CMMI cooperation will open new horizons for joint cooperation between the two sides in respect of exchange of expertise, skills, studies, training courses, information systems and advanced technological programs, as CMMI is an innovative, non-profit, research, innovation and technology development center established in Larnaca and supported by EU funds from the Teaming program, as well as the Government of Cyprus and established industry stakeholders.
