Within the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and Alexandria University fruitful co-operation that’s always looking forward to new future prospects, as AASTMT saved no effort in supporting the educational process, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President and AASTMT Delegation visited Alexandria University, on Sunday 13- 9- 2020, where they met held with H.E Prof. Dr. Essam Al-Kordy - President of Alexandria University, as to discuss AASTMT and Alexandria University methods of enhancing cooperation, as well as to honor H.E President of Alexandria University as for the end of his appointment as president of Alexandria University.On the sidelines of the visit, “AASTMT College of Language and Communication” – “Department of Arabic Language of Alexandria University Faculty of Arts” signed a co-operational agreement in the field of the specialized diploma "Teaching Arabic to non-native speakers", that will be accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, and that was held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abeer Rafqi - Dean of AASTMT Alexandria College of Language and Communication, Prof. Dr. Ghada Moussa - Dean of Alexandria University Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Nevine Mohamed Tharwat - Director of Institute of Linguistic Studies and Translation at Alexandria University Faculty of Arts, and Prof. Dr. Hisham Jaber - Vice President of Alexandria University Postgraduate Studies and Research, in addition to the renewal of AASTMT College of Language and Communication and Institute of Applied Linguistics and Translation of Alexandria University Faculty of Arts agreement in the postgraduate programs in Applied Linguistics (Diploma - Masters – PhD), where AASTMT student will receive a joint certificate from AASTMT and University of Alexandria that is accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities. As it is worth to mention that AASTMT Institute for Language Studies (ILS) and Institute of Applied Language Studies at Alexandria University Faculty of Arts cooperation was started in 2013.
