Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) keenness on looking forward to new future prospects, AASTMT has signed a cooperation agreement with the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) that was held in Jeddah - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), in the presence of H.E. Eng. Hani Sonbol -Chief Executive Officer of ITFC and H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President.The agreement was held as to discuss the establishment of an Arab structure and data base to support the shipbuilding and repair industry in the Arab states, and that will be implemented by AASTMT College of International Transport and Logistics and AASTMT Integrated Solutions for Ports (ISFP). Moreover, They discussed the methods of cooperation and the projects that implemented under the umbrella of the program of Aid for Trade Initiative for the Arab States (AFTIAS).
