Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) distinguished relations with University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in England that promote discussion and exchange of experiences in areas of mutual interest, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President and AASTMT Delegation met H.E. Dr. Graham Baldwin - UCLAN Vice-Chancellor - Chairman of the Governors, H.E. Prof. Ruth Connor - Deputy Chief Executive Officer of UCLAN, Prof. Dr. Onsy - Deputy Head of School of Engineering For Business Development and Partnerships at UCLAN, and Mr. Paul Rowe - Director of International Relations at UCLAN.AASTMT President visited UCLAN to activate UCLan and AASTMT agreements that included the dual degrees in various disciplines of Engineering and Technology, training and academic activities, in addition to increasing the methods of cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Moreover, they discussed the future plan as to develop the cooperation to include other medical, media and advanced computer science disciplines, as well as to complete UCLAN scholarship programs offered to AASTMT student with the greatest impact in keeping AASTMT student up with the requirements of the international labor market during the next years.
