Within the decision of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities to equate the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Computer Science - Information Systems) of College of Computing & Information Technology of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Alexandria, the defense of the first PhD thesis at AASTMT College of Computing and Information Technology was held on Saturday 9- 10- 2021 at AASTMT AbuKir Campus. The thesis of the scientific researcher Ahmed Maghawry was entitled:"Approach for Evolving Transformation Sequences Using Hybrid Genetic Algorithm”under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kholief - Professor of Computer Science at AASTMT Alexandria College of Computing & Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Yasser Omar - Associate Professor of Computer Science at AASTMT Heliopolis College of Computing & Information Technology, and Prof. Dr. Rania Hodhod - Associate Professor at Columbus State University - USA, where the defense committee was Prof. Dr. Mohamed Belal - Professor of Computer Science at Helwan University - Vice President of Technological University in Beni Suef and Prof. Dr. Khaled Mahar - Professor of Computer Science at AASTMT College of Computing & Information Technology and AASTMT Vice President of Academic Development.
