The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology as the governmental authority responsible for matters related to information and communication technology in Egypt, and also for implementing the strategy of artificial intelligence in Egypt, and Dell Technologies in Egypt on the other hand as a leading company in the field of information technology, specializing in digital transformation, and providing digital technology solutions, products, and services to achieve business success signed five tripartite cooperation agreements with each of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Cairo University, Ain Shams University, the American University in Cairo (AUC) and the German University in Cairo (GUC) as a third party on Wednesday 29 -12- 2021, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly - Prime Minister, H.E. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and H.E. Dr. Amr Talaat - Minister of Communications and Information Technology. The agreements aim to develop and provide applications, enhance knowledge and to build capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence in these universities through capacity-building initiatives and programs, training courses, and launching competitions related to artificial intelligence.The five agreements were signed by H.E. Dr. Golestan Radwan - Advisor to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Artificial Intelligence, and H.E. Eng. Maged Mahmoud - Vice President and General Manager of the Centers of Excellence at Dell Technologies in Egypt, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Othman Elkhosht - President of Cairo University, H.E. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Metiny - President of Ain Shams University, H.E. Dr. Ahmad S. Dallal - AUC President, and H.E. Dr. Yasser Hegazy - GUC President.
