Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) endeavor to always look to new future prospects, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development represented by Egypt Award for Gov`t Excellence, the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development (NIGSD) and AASTMT Institute of Productivity and Quality signed a cooperation protocol to design a specialized qualification programs to qualify and raise the competencies and skills through strategic partners in the field of excellence following the excellence models of the Egypt Award for Gov`t Excellence.
Moreover, AASTMT Center of Entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development represented by the Rowad 2030 Project, signed a protocol of cooperation as to establish specialized programs to support innovative ideas directed to people with disabilities and support entrepreneurs with special needs to establish their projects Pioneering and launching the first incubator specialized in this field in Egypt, which is also one of the first incubators in this field in the Arab region.
AASTMT and the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development protocols were signed in the presence of H.E. Dr. Hala El-Said - Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Eng. Khaled Mostafa - Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and General Supervisor of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, Dr. Sherifa Sherif - NIGSD Executive Director, Dr. Ghada Khalil - Director of the Rowad 2030 Project, affiliated with the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Sahar Al-Bazzar - Member of Parliament, Dr. Adel Bilal – AASTMT Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Hassan Abd Rabbo - Dean of AASTMT Institute of Productivity and Quality and Dr. Wael El-Desouky - Director of AASTMT Entrepreneurship Center, in addition to the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development Officials, and a number of supporters and coordinators of the initiative, as well as AASTMT Officials.
