Signing a memorandum of understanding between AASTMT and IMO

H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with H.E Mr. Efthimios E. Mitropoulos - Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization for 2012 - 2013 Technical Cooperation between AASTMT and IMO. Under this memorandum AASTMT will provide scholarships for African students and seminars as workshops for maritime experts in the areas of Arab region and the Mediterranean Sea, so AASTMT will be a partner with the International Maritime Organization in the implementation of the technical cooperation programs.
It is worth mentioning that the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Morocco has won the membership in the Board of Directors of the organization.
