In the presence of H.E. Saudi Minister of Transport, H.E. President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), as well as the Chairman of Saudi Ports Authority; AASTMT organized a workshop that entitled: "Administrative and Technical Standards for Commercial and Industrial Ports", on Saturday and Sunday 5-6 May 2012, at Mövenpick Hotel, Yanbu – Saudi Arabia and that was held under the auspices of Saudi Ports Authority.This workshop is one of the most important regional events in the field of ports and maritime transport industry in Saudi Arabia that explored the current development in the field of managing the ports logistic activities as well as it introduced the latest methods in combating oil pollution, maritime safety in ports, in addition to the most important methods in assessing ports financial and operational administration.
