Under the auspices of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, Alexandria College of Computing and Information Technology (CIT) in cooperation with Google's global company will hold a ceremony for their workshop that entitled “Illuminating Computer Science” that will start on Tuesday 4- 9- 2012, at 10:00 am till Thursday 6- 9- 2012, at El Faresy Hall – AASTMT - AbuKir Campus – Alexandria.This workshop will be honored by the attendance of Prof. Dr. Yousry ElGamal - Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Japanese Egyptian University and Eng. Wael Fakharany - Google Regional Director for Egypt, Middle East and North Africa, as nearly about 20 public, private and international schools in Alexandria will be invited to attend this event.That comes Within Google's program for the World Universities which aims at spreading the awareness of the usage of information technology and maximizing its usage in schools, where Google's global company had announced for a worldwide competition for the year 2012 that entitled "Computer Science for High Schools" with a grant for the winner, As AASTMT Alexandria College of Computing and Information Technology has won Google's global competition Grant for 2012, and this shows AASTMT role in servicing the Egyptian society.
