Under the supervision of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Sharm el-Sheikh will host the Arab Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM - ACPC 2013) – session 16, during 21 – 24 November, 2013, where 120 team representing 60 universities from the following 12 Arab countries will participate: Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Kuwait, UAE, Oman and Qatar.
It is worth mentioning that the winners will participate in the World Final Contest (ACM - ICPC 2013) that will be held at Ural Federal University - Russia.
ACM contest is considered the oldest and largest international competition in the field of computer programming, where it was organized under the auspices of the International Organization of Computer Science with the participation of more than 25,000 riders that represent more than 2,330 universities around the world.
