It is worth to mention that among 80 Arab teams who were participated at the finals and that were eliminated from the participated 1000 teams in the Middle East and North Africa contest, one of AASTMT teams whose members were (Mustafa Maher - Haytham Breeka - Adel Aly) has won the First place at the Arab Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM - ACPC 2014) that was held at Sharm el-Sheikh - Egypt, as for AASTMT unofficial team who were prepared to participate in the next competition has also won the second place as well as the third team has won the sixth place, where the winners will participate in the international competition in Morocco.

And on this occasion, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) congratulates AASTMT teams who were participated on this great achievement that expresses the efforts of students, professors and all those who contributed to this achievement from AASTMT different departments especially of the regional Informatics Center teamwork through their submission of technical and scientific support as their way of managing these competitions, as well as AASTMT support for believing on Arab youth and their performance which is much lower than their capabilities in the field of software and information technology as in the ways of systematic solutions as well as what they has achieved in this area is much less than what is expected, and so, his Excellency wishes them more success and excellence.
