H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the opening session of "First session of Spanish-Arab Forum for Audio-Visual Public Services" in Madrid that is organized by the Spanish Radio and Television Authority, under the patronage of H.E Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary General of the League of Arab States, who sponsor the first session of a forum on Arab-Spanish relations through digital media, H.E Mr. Jose Manuel Perez - President of the Spanish Radio and Television Authority, and H.E Mr. Mikel Iseta - Minister of Culture and Sports of Spain.This forum is a good opportunity for Arab and Spanish media institutions to exchange experiences and views and build bridges of cooperation between the two sides, due to the participation of a large number of heads of radio and television organizations in various Arab countries and Arab media institutions. As the sessions of the forum addressed a number of topics, most notably the importance of digital media in cultural exchange and how to develop institutional cooperation relations in the media field between the Arab and Spanish sides, and develop a future plan to activate the mechanisms of this cooperation.
