Within the implementation of the activities of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) memorandum of understanding for technical cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Transport and the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a National Work Shop on the International Convention that entitled “The Control Of Harmful Antifouling Systems On Ships” was held under the auspices of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President during the period from 16 - 17 September 2015, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus in Alexandria. The National Work Shop on the International Convention was held by IMO experts with the participation of 44 trainees from various Maritime Transport disciplines.
