The Relaunch of Egypt’s National Youth Strategy

The Relaunch of Egypt’s National Youth Strategy (2021–2026) is led by the Arab Institute for Leadership Development (AILD), in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (EMYS) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). This renewed launch reinforces Egypt’s commitment to youth empowerment, as part of the Presidential Program for Youth Leadership announced by H.E. President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, aiming to involve young people in political, economic, and social responsibilities.

The strategy is a key component of Egypt’s Vision 2030, focusing on strengthening youth leadership and management capacities. UNFPA continues to support this effort by promoting healthcare and rights-based youth policies in close partnership with the Egyptian government and across the Arab region.
