Mai Hisham Haroun Mohamed Montasser is a Lecturer in Logistics Systems at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), College of International Transport & Logistics, Egypt. She obtained her Ph.D. in Logistics Systems in December 2025, following her MBA (Excellent) in International Transport & Logistics and a Bachelor’s degree (Excellent with Honor) in Maritime Transport Economics from the same institution. Haroun’s research focuses on green logistics, sustainable supply chain management, energy efficiency, and digital transformation in logistics systems. Her recent work investigates the role of green logistics practices in reducing non-renewable energy consumption and their impact on customer purchasing intentions in the Egyptian context. She has published in peer-reviewed journals including International Business Logistics (IBL) and the Journal of Commerce and Finance (التجارة والتمويل), in addition to contributing to international conferences in supply chain resilience and blockchain applications.
