Iman Hany is a Lecturer at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. She received her B.A. in language and translation and her M.A. in applied linguistics from the English department of the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University. She started her teaching career in 2006 as a teacher for both children and adult learners. In 2007, she joined the AAST as a part-time English instructor at the Institute for Language Studies (ILS). A year later, she became a Graduate Teaching Assistant. She has been teaching various general English and ESP (English for Specific Purposes) courses for the Colleges of Engineering and Maritime Transport as well as International Transport and Logistics. Her main research interests are applied linguistics and second language teaching and learning.
