As a lecturer and architectural analyst, I specialize in campus master planning, design development, and exploring the social dimensions of architectural projects, with a keen focus on activity-based costing/investment models. My extensive experience, gained during and after my PhD, includes collaboration with researchers/editors and under the close direction of specialists in campus planning and finance across universities in Egypt, the UK, and the USA. I was awarded a 12-month secondment as a Marie Curie researcher and faculty adjunct at the City Planning Department, SDSU, USA. Over the past 4 years, I have served as a research assistant, lecturer, and then modules editor at the University of Salford since 2021, and Huddersfield University since 2022. Currently, I have returned to my home university at the Architectural Engineering and Environmental Design Department, AASTMT. Here, I am excited to co-found the Alamein Smart Campus and drive further international development and collaboration.
