Currently, I am a Professor of Renewable Energy Systems at the department of Electrical and Control Engineering- AASTMT Abukir Branch. My research interests are mainly involved with Modelling and control of renewable energy systems and power electronic converters as well as power quality issues. My educational activities include teaching undergraduate and post graduate courses, supervision of PhD and masters' students as well as undergraduate final projects as well as participating in funded research projects. Finally, I am one of the team responsible for sustainability goals in AASTMT, mainly sdg7. I have received my Professorship and Associate Professorship Degrees from AASTMT in 2023 and 2019 respectively and my Ph.D. degrees in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University of Strathclyde, UK. in 2015. I have got my BSc and masters degree from AAST from the Electrical and Control Engineering Department in 2007 and 2009 respectively.
