Mohamed Ahmed Al-Yamahi is a prominent Emirati politician who has been actively involved in regional legislative affairs. He has been a member of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates since 2015 and joined the Arab Parliament in 2016. In October 2024, Al-Yamahi was elected as the President of the Arab Parliament for a two-year term, garnering 53 votes against his Libyan opponent. Prior to this role, he served as the Vice President of the Arab Parliament and has been a member of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace since 2017.
