Prof. Walid A. Salameh

Prof. Walid A. Salameh is a distinguished academic and thought leader in the fields of Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. He serves as a professor at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) and is a senior consultant to both the Association of Arab Universities (AArU) and the Arab Association for Digital Economy. Prof. Salameh has held significant leadership positions at PSUT, including Vice President, Dean of Engineering & IT school at PSUT, and Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies.

His extensive teaching and research experience include serving as an adjunct professor at the New York Institute of Technology and as a visiting professor at prominent institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and (ASU). Prof. Salameh has led numerous national and regional ICT committees and has coordinated various EU and international projects executed at several places. With over 70 published scientific papers and five authored books, Prof. Salameh's research portfolio is vast and diverse. His current research interests include cybersecurity, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), data mining, artificial neural networks, and image and speech recognition, as well as computer networks and security.
