Dr. Mostafa Rashid is a distinguished academic and logistics expert, currently serving as the Assistant President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) for Arab Affairs since 2017. He has extensive experience in international transport, logistics, and Arab affairs, having held significant roles such as Vice Dean of the College of International Transport and Logistics, Director of the Technical Office for Arab Affairs, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Holding Company for Silos and Storage. Rashid is an active participant in various advisory and technical committees, including those within the League of Arab States, where he focuses on transport, logistics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. He represents AASTMT in high-level meetings and contributes to initiatives such as the Arab Artificial Intelligence Working Group and the development of the Arab strategy for artificial intelligence.

In addition to his leadership and advisory roles, Mostafa Rashid teaches courses on transport economics, logistics management, and supply chain management, while supervising numerous master’s theses across Egyptian and Arab universities. His contributions to the field of transport and logistics are complemented by his commitment to advancing innovation and education within the Arab region.
