Dr. Mona Soliman is a recognized leader in Data & AI Technical Architecture, Data & Applied Science, and Research, with extensive multi-disciplinary industry and academic experience in the US, Canada, and internationally. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering with a concentration in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Colorado Technical University, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Automatic Control from Ain Shams University. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, Dr. Soliman is an expert in Information Retrieval, language technologies, generative AI, large-scale data and AI solutions, applied science, and solution architecture.

Dr. Soliman's professional experience includes leading roles at Microsoft Corporation, where she has driven high-impact Data & AI initiatives and mentored junior scientists and engineers. Her positions have included Partner Data & Applied Scientist, Principal Data & Applied Scientist, and Principal Scientist in various Microsoft divisions such as Industry Solutions Engineering, Microsoft AI and Research, Azure Machine Learning, and Bing Search. She has also held R&D and academic positions at the University of Colorado, Hewlett-Packard, and other institutions. Dr. Soliman has contributed to several patents and publications, including work on robot gesture generation and situation-aware personal assistants.
