Kosar Akram Jaff is a Global AI & Technology Leader with over 35 years of experience in the software and hardware industries. His career includes senior leadership roles at Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Shopify, and Intel. As Vice President of Engineering, he led AI-driven initiatives that successfully addressed fraud. Mr. Jaff’s work has contributed to foundational technologies, such as USB, and he holds eight issued patents and seven pending. He is fluent in five languages and has significant experience managing international teams and driving technological innovation.

Previously, Mr. Jaff led data, AI, and machine learning teams at Accolade, overseeing the full lifecycle of enterprise data. He also led Amazon Spark and mobile shopping applications, and managed Microsoft’s automotive engineering for Ford’s infotainment systems. Earlier in his career, he contributed to Intel platforms from the 386 to Pentium III generations. He was also a founding engineer on the USB specification and played a key role in its global adoption. His expertise spans operating systems, hardware, big data, mobile applications, machine learning, large language models (LLM), and web services.

Mr. Jaff holds an MBA from California State University and a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University. He spent his childhood years in Egypt, Somalia, Lebanon, Iraq, and Italy before pursuing his education and career in the United States. He is actively involved in community initiatives supporting social causes in Seattle (WA), and New York City.
