Arab Rugby Competition “Sixth Arab Men” – “First Arab Women” at AASTMT AbuKir Campus

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) hosted the Arab Rugby Competition “Sixth Arab Men” – “First Arab Women” that was held during 12 – 13 February 2021, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus, in the presence of H.E Dr. Ashraf Sobhy - Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, H.E Mr. Hossam Saheb - President of the Egyptian Rugby Federation, H.E Eng. Sherif El-Erian - Secretary General of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, H.E Mr. Qais Abdulla Al Dhalai. Qais Al-Zhali - chairman of the Arab and Asian Rugby Federation, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President.
The championship was held with the participation of 8 Arab men`s teams (Egypt - UAE - Lebanon - Syria - Iraq - Sudan - Palestine - Libya), and 4 women`s teams (Egypt - UAE - Lebanon - Syria), as Egypt national team won the First place, Lebanon national team won the second place, and Emirates national team won the third place.
