Within The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) consolidations for the bonds of cooperation which are always looking forward to new future prospects, as AASTMT saved no effort in supporting the educational process, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President and AASTMT Delegation visited the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) on Monday 7- 9- 2020.
H.E AASTMT President met H.E Prof Dr. Mohamed ElKoosy - CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, H.E Prof. Dr. Mohamed Khalil - EgSA Deputy Executive Director, Prof. Dr. Sherif Battisha - EgSA Technical Advisor, Prof. Dr. Wafaa Baghdadi - EgSA Technical Advisor, and a group of EgSA Professors and Advisors , where H.E CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency reviewed the most important activities and achievements of the agency, and presented EgSA technical projects, then His Excellency and H.E AASTMT President discussed EgSa and AASTMT various methods of cooperation, where the Egyptian Space Agency CEO confirmed the possibility of participation of AASTMT students in summer training as to be qualified in the field of space, equipments and satellites, as for AASTMT Co-operational Agreements with different World Universities and institutions that promote discussion and exchange of experiences in areas of mutual interest.
It`s worth to mention that EgSA is an Egyptian public economic authority established in August 2019, with a legal personality and affiliated with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as it was established by the Law No. 3 of 2018 which aims to create, transfer space technology development, localization and own self-capabilities to build & launch satellites from Egyptian territory.
