"Closing Ceremony" of College of Language and Communication "Scientific Forum"

As keeping on the "First Scientific Forum" of Smart Village College of Language and Communication of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) that was held on 11 - 12 December 2022, at AASTMT Smart Village Campus, the closing Ceremony of the forum that entitled "Mass Communication and Artificial Intelligence: Integration and Partnerships" was held under the auspices H.E. Prof. Dr Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag – AASTMT President.
During the closing Ceremony, a set of recommendations were issued, including the focus of educational institutions on eradicating digital illiteracy, making media culture part of the curricula, creating partnerships using artificial intelligence technology, updating media policy in line with technological developments, and observing the requirements of values, transparency and privacy, intellectual property, human rights, security and safety, in addition to observing the regulations of media colleges to accommodate courses in line with the digital technology developments, as regarding the Arab identity during the usage of artificial intelligence applications.
It`s worth to mention that the forum activities was held in the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr Ashraf Sobhi – Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, H.E. Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattabi - Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Media and Communication Sector, at the League of Arab States, H.E AASTMT President, and Prof. Dr Hanan Youssef - Dean of Smart Village College of Language and Communication – Head of forum, in addition to an elite of leading academics, experts, researchers and AASTMT Officials.
