Establishment of a Navigational Line between Lake Victoria and the Mediterranean Sea (VICMED) Project

The Maritime Research and Consultation Center (MRCC) of the Arab Academy for science & Technology & Maritime Transport organized the conference of the States concerned with the establishment of a navigational line between Lake Victoria and the Mediterranean Sea Project (VICMED) that will be hosted by the Egyptian Ministry of Transport on Monday 12- 12- 2022, at Marriott Cairo Hotel.
The conference aims at launching the 2nd phase of the feasibility study of the project through a number of seminars of experts, professionals and river transport stakeholders, in addition to seminars by ministers and the project’s sponsors and stakeholders. The conference events will be held in the presence of the Egyptian Minister of Transport and ministers of the Nile Basin countries involved in the project, in addition to project and maritime transport stakeholders.
