AASTMT Students Participation in the navy manoeuvre "Zat El-Sawary" and raising Egypt`s flag on new Frigate "Long live Egypt"

A group of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) students participated in the navy manoeuvre "Zat El-Sawary" and the raising of Egypt`s flag on new Frigate "Tahya Misr", Arabic for "Long live Egypt" on Thursday 17- 3- 2016, in Alexandria.
Egypt`s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi attended the launch of the navy manoeuvre "Zat El-Sawary" among top military officials including Minister of Defence and Chief of Staff.
The manoeuvre included many activities and training operations tasks, including securing the range of the navy, as well as developing means of communication, the movement of ships, securing offshore units, and the implementation of all forms of sea defences.
It is worth mentioning that different vessels has been participated in the manoeuvre by using live ammunition in addition to the participation of different Marine units, helicopters, detecting planes and anti submarines.
