AASTMT Workshop With the League of Arab States

Within the decisions of session 96 of the Economic and Social Council that was held in September 2015 concerning the preparation of initial feasibility studies on the establishment of a joint private sector company for maritime transport between the Arab countries and South American countries, as well as a joint company for logistical services, and asking the Arab League economic sector and the Arab Academy Science, Technology and Maritime transport (AASTMT) to follow up the implementation process, it was decided to hold a workshop on 6 - 7 November 2016, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus – Alexandria.
The workshop will be held in cooperation between the League of Arab States and AASTMT on the development of an implementation plan to identify the mechanisms of establishing two joint private sector companies between the the Arab countries and South American countries.
