AASTMT President Participation in China-Arab States BDS Cooperation Forum (CASBCF)

H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) as representing H.E Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary General of the League of Arab States participated in the first session of China-Arab States BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) Cooperation Forum (CASBCF) that was held on May 24th, 2017, in Shanghai – China.
CASBCF was jointly held by the China Satellite Navigation Office, the Office of Chinese Secretariat of China – Arab States Cooperation Forum, the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States and the Arab Information & Communication Technologies Organization, as CASBCF was held in the presence of representatives of countries members of the League of Arab States, international organizations as well as a number of Chinese government sectors, research institutions and companies, as to discuss the potential and prospects of cooperation between China and the Arab countries in the field of satellite navigation.
