AASTMT President Participation in the ceremony of the delivery of the first educational satellites

Within the joint program between the Egyptian Space Agency and Egyptian universities, regarding the localization of space technology in different universities, as well as within the objectives and strategy of the state’s plan for sustainable development 2030, the Egyptian Space Agency delivered 3 educational satellites to the laboratories of the faculties of sciences of Helwan University, Ain Shams University Engineering, and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) Sheraton Campus, on Tuesday 4- 1- 2022, as to be the beginning of space innovation laboratories in (32) faculties of engineering and sciences in various Egyptian universities, funded jointly by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) and the Egyptian Space Agency.
The ceremony was held in the presence of H.E Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar - Egyptian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, H.E Prof. Dr. Mohamed ElKoosy - CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, H.E Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saqr - ASRT President, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, H.E Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Metiny - President of Ain Shams University, and H.E Dr. Mamdouh Mahdi - Acting President of Helwan University and H.E Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar - Media Adviser and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
