AASTMT Session on ERASMUS PLUS Projects to integrate students with disabilities into the labor market using Assistive Technology

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) efforts to support the educational process, AASTMT will hold an Orientation Session on the results of “SWING” project as well as the objectives of “PACES” project that concerned the development of higher education centers for special needs in North Africa, especially the development and activation of these objectives at AASTMT in cooperation with the Egyptian, European and Arab Universities to participate in the project.
The session will be held on Tuesday 3- 4- 2018, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, at AASTMT El Faresy Hall - AbuKir Campus – Alexandria, and that comes within ERASMUS PLUS Projects funded by the European Commission and granted to AASTMT and a number of Egyptian, European and Arab universities to integrate students with disabilities into the labor market using Assistive Technology through the following projects:
1- Sustainable ways to increase higher education students “equal access to learning environments (SWING) 2011 – 2015.
2- Progression of accessibility centers in higher education for students with disabilities in north Africa (PACES) 2017 – 2020.
