"AASTMT" - "Ruler of Sharjah" Memorandum of Understanding

Within The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) consolidations for the bonds of cooperation which are always looking forward to new future prospects, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Al Qasimi - Member of United Arab Emirates Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah as to establish a new branch for AASTMT in Khorfakkan – Sharjah, where the new branch of Sharjah will graduate specialized students in the field of maritime transport science and technology, international shipping logistics, International Maritime Law, and that will provide new specialized qualitative studies.
It is worth mentioning that AASTMT and Sharjah new MOU states on building and sustaining a co-operational relationship between the two parties, as achieving the common positive objectives through setting the main frame for joint action to find current and future ways of cooperation in various fields and activities, as well as getting benefits from the accumulated experience of both parties. It also states that the fields of cooperation and coordination between the two parties will be in areas of mutual interest of the administrative and technical issues that will include: Higher education and scientific research, research and specialized studies, and exchange of practical experiences.
