The "16th Scientific Conference of Arab Society for Economic Research" at AASTMT El Alamein Campus

​​​​​​Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly - Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the activities of the 16th scientific conference of the Arab Society for Economic Research that entitled “Strengthening the Capacity of Arab Economies to Resilience in the Face of Crises” was held during 1 - 2 October 2022, at El Alamein Campus of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT). The conference was organized by the Institute of National Planning (INP) in cooperation with the Arab Planning Institute in the State of Kuwait (API) and AASTMT.
It`s worth to mention that H.E Dr. Hala El-Said - Egyptian Minister of Planning and Economic Development inaugurated the conference on behalf of the Egyptian Prime Minister on Saturday 1- 10- 2022. During the inauguration ceremony, the sixth edition of the Arab Development Report entitled “Economic Growth in the Light of Crises: The Covid-19 Pandemic”, was launched within the activities of the conference, and that was held in the presence of H.E Prof. Dr. Ashraf El-Araby - INP President and Secretary-General of the Arab Society for Economic Research, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President, H.E Dr. Mounir Al-Hamsh – President of the Arab Society for Economic Research, Dr. Badr Othman Malallah – Director General of Arab Planning Institute (API), in addition to the participation of a number of researchers and specialists, as well as AASTMT Officials.
