"AASTMT - French Institute for Oriental Archaeology" Cooperation

H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and H.E Dr. Laurent Bafay - Director of the French Institute for Oriental Archaeology (IFAO) in Cairo signed a Protocol of Cooperation in the field of Archeology on Thursday 6- 12- 2018, that aims to enhance the study of AASTMT College of Archeology in Aswan by exchanging research, reports and experiences through the exchange of academic staff members, courses and curricula, as the IFAO owns a publishing house for Oriental books and Egyptian Antiquities in Cairo, as it also owns 35 excavation and restoration missions, as well as IFAO owns has the best libraries of Egyptian Archeology that will be available for AASTMT students with this agreement.
It`s worth to mention that IFAO dedicated AASTMT library about 200 books on the Eastern and Egyptian Archeology, and that was held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Attallah Hashad - Director of AASTMT South Valley Campus and Dr. Monika Hanna - Head of Archeology and Cultural Heritage Unit in South Valley Campus.
