AASTMT President Participation in the World Maritime Day “2022” celebration

Within the World Maritime Day Celebration, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - President of the of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime (AASTMT) participated in the World Maritime Day “2022” celebration, as for the invitation of H.E Lieutenant-General Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir - Egyptian Minister of Transport, where the celebration was held on Sunday 2- 10- 2022,in Alexandria.
The annual celebration of the World Maritime Day is held annually all over the world under the umbrella of the International Maritime Organization. "New technologies for greener shipping" has been chosen as the World Maritime theme for 2022, where the celebration was held in the presence of H.E Egyptian Minister of Transport, H.E Rear Admiral/ Ashraf Ibrahim Atwa - Commander of Egyptian Navy, H.E Rear Admiral/ Reda Ahmed Ismail - Head of the Maritime Transport Sector (MTS), and H.E Major General/ Mohamed El-sherif - Governor of Alexandria, in addition to a group of members of the diplomatic and consular corps, Heads of the board of directors of various ports and companies specialized in the maritime transport industry, and workers in the maritime transport sector.
