“AASTMT” – “Information Technology Institute of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology” MOU

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) consolidations for the bonds of cooperation which are always looking forward to new future prospects, as AASTMT saved no effort in supporting the educational process, and discussing the methods that promote discussion and exchange of experiences in areas of mutual interest, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, and H.E Dr. Heba Saleh - President of the Information Technology Institute of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (ITI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AASTMT South Valley College of Computers and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology "Information Technology Institute", on Wednesday 24- 2- 2021, as to develop the training process and the capabilities of human cadres in the field of science and technology, in accordance with the needs of economic and societal development and within the administrative facilities, technical capabilities and training experiences of AASTMT and ITI.
It`s worth to mention that "AASTMT – ITI" Memorandum of Understanding was signed as for AASTMT academic pioneering role as one of the League of Arab States specialized organizations in the field of education, training and scientific research, as well as for being one of the Arab joint work organizations that has been assigned to serve the Arab community and its advancement in various fields of education. On the other hand, In keeping with the Egyptian government development efforts to raise the efficiency and use of communication and information technology in different sectors, where ITI as a scientific and training institution whose objectives include the preparation of specialists in the field of information technology, as well as for ITI pioneering role in the process of human resources development by organizing scientific and practical courses in various fields of information technology and innovation, as to complement this pioneering role in the development of the information technology community in Egypt, especially in Aswan and the South Valley governorates.
