AASTMT "Port Training Institute" Fourth Online Workshop

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) Port Training Institute (PTI) series of webinars to discuss the effects of COVID-19 on maritime transport, logistics, education and maritime training sector, PTI organized the Fourth Online workshop through the online platform (zoom application) that entitled: "Port City Integration - An Optimum Solution to encounter Post COVID-19 Challenges”, on Wednesday 8 -7- 2020.
H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President inaugurated PTI Fourth Online Workshop that was held with the participation of international speakers, experts and specialists from China and Spain, in the presence of H.E Ambassador Dr. Kamal Hassan Ali - Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs of the League of Arab States, H.E Dr. Dina AlZahir - Director of Transport and Tourism Sector at the League of Arab States, H.E Major General Adel AlGhadban - Governor of Port Said, H.E Dr. Jacqueline Azar - Deputy Governor of Alexandria, on behalf of H.E Major General Mohamed El Sherif - Governor of Alexandria, H.E Reda Ismail - Head of the Egyptain Maritime Transport Sector, Prof. Dr. Lobna ElSheirf - AASTMT Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Gamal Ghalwash - AASTMT Vice President for Training, Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Abier Mourad - Head of AASTMT Public Relations Department, and Prof. Dr. Akram Suleiman Al Salami - Dean of AASTMT Port Training Institute, in addition to the participation of attendees from Egypt and the Arab countries through (Zoom) and (YouTube) programs, where the workshop emphasized on the the role of the coastal city to face the consequences of Covid-19 epidemic, as well as suggestions and innovative solutions to enhance the integration of "Port - City" from social, economic and environmental aspects.
