AASTMT President at the Lebanese Embassy in Cairo

Regarding the appeal of H.E Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit - Secretary General of the League of Arab States for the Solidarity and Support for the State of Lebanon and the provision of urgent assistance to Lebanon to face the humanitarian, social and economic repercussions of the massive explosion of Beirut, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the activities of the visit of the Arab Joint Action delegation to the Lebanese Embassy in Cairo, on Thursday 27- 8- 2020, as to present the plan of the Arab Joint Action that includes a number of proposals to support Lebanon, and that was held in the presence of H.E. Ambassador Hussam Zaki - Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, H.E Ambassador Dr. Kamal Hassan Ali - League of Arab States Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs, and H.E Consultant Mohamed Khair - Director of Arab organizations and unions of the Secretariat General of the League of Arab States in addition to a group of heads of the Arab organizations and unions that will participate in the support.
