AASTMT Opening of its new branch in Port Said.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) opened its new branch in Port Said at Port Fouad City on Saturday 9/ 1/ 2010 at 10:00 am, in the presence of:
1 - Mr. Efthimios Mitropoulos, Secretary-General of International
Maritime Organization (IMO)
2 - General/ Mostafa Abd El-Latif, Governor of Port Said
3 - Vice Adm/ Mohab Mameesh, Commander-in-Chief of Egyptian Naval Forces
4 - Admiral/ Ahmed Fadel, Chairman and Managing Director Suez Canal Authority
5 – Prof Dr/ Mohamed Farghaly, President of Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport
It should be noted that the Academy had focused on the provision of educational, training , advisory and technical services in the field of maritime transport through its various Maritime Colleges and Institutes, and that had coped with the academy activated role in meeting the development requirements and in serving the Egyptian society through its investment in human resources in Port said region and its neighboring governorates, which represented in human resources provision and training, human capital investment and transformation to a well-trained and qualified employment that can work in domestic markets or abroad.
For that, the new branch opening has been coincided with Port Said Governorate current and future investment plans.
