GFCM - SAC - Transversal Workshop on selectivity improvement, by-catch reduction and alternative gears

In coordination with Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Sub-Committee on Marine Environment and Ecosystems (SCMEE), Sub-Committee on Stock Assessment (SCSA), as well as Economic and Social Sciences (SCESS) of Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) of GENERAL FISHERIES COMMISSION FOR THE MEDITERRANEAN (GFCM), and Institute of Fishing Gears and Aquaculture of the Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), a Transversal workshop on "selectivity improvement, by-catch reduction and alternative gears" will be held on Monday 25 October 2010, at 9:00 am, till 27 October 2010, at AASTMT - Abukir Campus, Alexandria – Egypt.
