International Day for Women in Maritime 2022

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in cooperation with the Maritime Transport Sector in the Arab Republic of Egypt organized the celebration of the "International Day for Women in Maritime 2022", that will be held on Wednesday 18- 5- 2022, at AASTMT El-Alamein Campus.
It is worth to mention that the celebration activities will be held as keeping on implementing the resolution of the General Assembly of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) at its thirty-first session at the end of 2019 that entitled “Preserving the legacy of the global maritime logo for 2019 and Supporting a barrier-free working environment for Women in Maritime”.
The IMO Assembly in 2021 adopted a resolution proclaiming the IMO International Day for Women in Maritime that is observed on 18 May every year, as the first celebration will be held in 2022.
