Maritime Labor Conference - a Step On The Road

Under the auspices of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), a conference on "Maritime Labor - a Step On The Road" of the The Social Services Society for Merchant Marine Officers (SMO) will be held on 27 - 28/ 6/ 2012, at AASTMT Main Conference Hall - Abukir Campus – Alexandria.
AASTMT participation will considered to be a restoration for its leadership in the field of marine labor force seminars and conferences, as well as a participation in the international celebration of the "Day of the Seafarer", also the conference will shed light on the maritime labor problems and their suggested solutions, as well as it will give a push toward the direction of the maritime common work ratification Treaty Which issued by the International Labour Organization (MLC 2006), in addition to the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the conference participating maritime Arab entities.
It is worth mentioning that many shipping companies, ministries, unions and authorities from Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen will participate in the conference.
