Signing a memorandum of understanding for Technical Cooperation between AASTMT and IMO

H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail - AASTMT President has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with H.E Mr. Koji Sekimizu - Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) on Friday 29- 11- 2013, at IMO headquarter – London - UK, where this memorandum of understanding allows the technical cooperation between AASTMT and IMO, as AASTMT will provide regional and national training courses, IMO model courses and Practical training in maritime disciplines that was assigned through the IMO Integrated Technical Cooperation Program (ITCP),as well as, it also will provide the Scholarships for Africa students, as the scope of MOU is extending to ensure the presence of IMO in the region through the services rendered by AASTMT.
