Arab Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM - ACPC 2014) – session 17

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in co-operation with the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology will organize the Arab Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM - ACPC 2014) – session 17, at Sharm el-Sheikh that will be held under the auspices of the League of Arab States, as the arbitration will be held by a group of software experts from Google, Facebook, Microsoft and and Amazon companies.
It is worth mentioning that 100 teams from more than 1000 teams who have participated in the preliminary competition representing 60 universities from 14 Arab countries will participate in the Arab competition, where the winners will participate in the World Final Contest that will include the best 100 universities around the world and that will be hosted by the State of Morocco, under the auspices of King Mohammed VI.
Moreover, this competition is one of the oldest and largest international competition in the field of computer programming for college students and organized by the American Computer Research Association (Association for Computer Machinery ACM) and IBM, one of the most important international competitions in the software and is organized since 1970 and participates annually for more than 30 thousand rider 2330 University around the world.
